I believe stories matter.

Because stories help people make sense of the world and their role within it.

I believe language is a powerful tool for connection. Because language is the common thread that unites us all.

I believe the written word is a valuable art form. Because words have the capacity to influence hearts, minds and lives.

The right words speak to humanity and shape culture.

While the media industry is an ever-evolving landscape, one consistent landmark remains the same: humans love stories.

And I love telling them.

Enchanted by the written word since childhood, Rebecca is a wordsmith who loves the art of storytelling.

After graduating from university with a Creative Industries & Media Communications degree, Beck spread her wanderlust wings and pursued her passion for writing.

Moving to Asia in her early 20’s, she dived into the magazine industry where Beck merged her love of travelling and editorial aspirations by globetrotting as a professional travel & lifestyle journalist.

Inspired by an interest in holistic health, she specialised in wellness + wellbeing content and in her late 20’s, became the Editor-in-Chief of luxury lifestyle & wellness travel publication, Asia Spa Magazine, in Hong Kong.

After a lengthy stint as the magazine’s queen bee, Beck traded the hustle and stress of corporate city living for something simpler. Because although hers was the ‘dream job’, she craved a quieter, more gentle, way of life. So she took a leap of faith and moved to Bali to become a digital nomad.

As a freelance writer, editor, content creator and editorial consultant, Beck worked with clients all over the globe on projects, ranging from coffee table books to custom publishing content. With a passion for meaningful content that uplifts the human heart,  she found her niche in editorial stories that inform the mind and inspire the soul.

Love entered her life, and after marrying her husband and giving birth to two precious children, Beck moved back to Australia with family in tow. Her editorial offerings reflected this evolution to include mindful parenting content, and in 2022 she wrote her first children’s book, Tabitha Finds Her Feet.

Nowadays, Beck lives by the beach in Noosa on Australia’s Sunshine Coast where she spends her days mumming and writing. As a devoted mama who embraces intentional living that is anchored in faith, she loves penning stories about wholesome lifestyle practices that support mental, emotional and spiritual growth.
